Certificate of Analysis & Third-Party Testing
A Certificate of Analysis (COA) is the single most important document in research-compound supply. It is the independent, empirical record of what is actually in the vial, not a marketing claim. Every Peak Labs batch is analysed by an independent third-party laboratory, and we publish the real report so you can read the numbers yourself before you order.
Independently analysed by Janoshik
Testing is carried out by Janoshik Analytical, an independent third-party laboratory, not by us. Third-party analysis removes the conflict of interest inherent in a supplier grading its own product and gives you unbiased data. Each batch is tested by:
- HPLC (High-Performance Liquid Chromatography) for purity, reported as the percentage of total chromatogram peak area accounted for by the target compound.
- ICP-MS (Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry) for a heavy-metals screen where applicable.
What every Peak Labs COA shows
A complete COA answers four questions. Ours are structured so you can check each one:
- Identity. Confirmation the compound is what the label says, by mass spectrometry (theoretical vs observed molecular weight).
- Purity. The HPLC purity figure and the chromatogram it is calculated from (main peak area divided by total peak area).
- Heavy metals. An ICP-MS screen, reported against the batch.
- Batch traceability. The report is tied to the lot identifier printed on the vial you receive.
How to read a COA (the short version)
On the HPLC chromatogram, the tall main peak is the target compound; purity is that peak's share of the total peak area. Mass spectrometry then confirms identity by matching the measured mass to the expected mass within tolerance, because a compound can look pure on HPLC yet be the wrong molecule. For the full walkthrough, including the red flags to watch for, read our guide: How to read a peptide Certificate of Analysis.
Where to find each COA
The purity and heavy-metals reports are published per product and per batch. Open any product page and select Certificate of Analysis to view or download the report for that compound. Where a new batch is still with the lab, the report is marked as in progress and published as soon as it is returned. We do not publish placeholder or fabricated figures.
Cold-chain from testing to your bench
Verified batches are stored and dispatched cold-chain across the UAE and the wider GCC, so the compound that was tested is the compound that reaches your laboratory in the condition it was validated in.
