Tesamorelin is a stabilised synthetic analogue of the first 44 amino acids of growth-hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH). The trans-3-hexenoyl modification at the N-terminus improves its stability against enzymatic degradation. It is a recognised reference compound in GHRH-axis research.
